I lived in the room on the first floor that shares a wall with the loudest part of the lounge and it was fine imo. Sometimes you can hear what people are saying in the lounge if they're being a bit rambunctious but its somewhat muted and it doesn't happen frequently. Worst case you could ask them to keep it down and/or use earplugs, but I don't think that's super neccessary. ~ n8. --------- As someone who lived down the hall from the lounge, you rarely hear anything from DH, but occasionally hear commotion from other houses above us like CC or La Casa, albeit very muted. Most annoying part about living on the first floor is rooming near road cuz sometimes you can hear the cars wooshing by. ~ camacho
