You can't order private food for yourself in the weekly instacart order; you'll have to get your own personal groceries separately. Most people bike or walk to the grocery store, and we have two refrigerator/freezer combos for personal groceries. But, on weeks that it's your birthday, you can request your favorite dessert to be put on the menu. Also, you can add your favorite recipes to the website and ask the cookcrew steward to add it to the weekly menu occasionally. Some people in the house have their own subscriptions to food delivery services and might occasionally opt for a group order. ~ Anna & Camacho
