Every dorm at MIT has the same blue Twin XL mattress, so you will have room to stretch vertically but not to stretch horizontally. As a recent unwilling resident of macgregor, our mattresses are newer and cleaner. Would recommend a mattress topper though. ~ Anna & Camacho
