What do you guys eat for breakfast and lunch?

Hmmmm.. Depends on the day. If I have class early, I'll probably try to pack a piece of fruit & cheese for before my 9 am class and either pack DH leftovers, a sandwich, or go to the Stata cafe for lunch. If I have class late, I tend to sleep through breakfast, and only eat a larger lunch. I'll purchase personal groceries for myself usually once every 2 weeks, like snack foods, coffee, gatorade, fruit, probably string cheese, and materials for making sandwiches, so it basically holds me over in between DH meals. ~ Katie ------- I like to eat oatmeal in the mornings. TBH I always like to meal prep so I usually have a variety of things I could eat for breakfast- I make eggs and toast, put some salsa on it, sometimes i do salmon and toast, other times I just have yogurt or a breakfast shake. Usually for lunch, I do my own thing and I meal prep something for the week, such as chili, sandwiches, fried rice, etc. whenever I don't have something for lunch, I'll take some leftovers from DH. I typically go food shopping once a week, meal prep sometime on the weekend, and get a few snacks and sweets. Typically if you try to make food in the morning or midday, the kitchens aren't super crowded cause people typically have classes, but also depends on other's schedules. I recommend carving out some time in ur week, maybe like an hour or something, just to quickly make a batch of whatever u like and have it for breakfast or lunch if u want something a little different. Otherwise, eating leftovers from DH is a great option, just remember that a lot of people also are gonna eat the leftovers, so morning/breakfast food is not always guaranteed. -Tamara. ------- MIT also has the Banana Lounge, which is literally a room stocked with free bananas. When I'm in a rush, I'll just grab a banana for breakfast/lunch. ~ Margaret
