Green beans

0.5 lb green beans

NOTE: If the green beans are frozen, skip to step 2.

1) If they're fresh, cut the stem-tips off of the ends. Cut into bite sized pieces 1-3" long.
2) Fill a pot with ~1-2 cm of water and bring to a boil (not a frying pan!). When the water is boiling, add the green beans and let sit for 3-4 minutes (ONLY) (perhaps a little longer if the beans are frozen). Pull the pot off the stove and pour the beans/water over a strainer. They should be bright green; serve.
