Pan Dulce (epic)

Ingredients

1 cup Anise
0.53 oz baking powder
0.22 lb butter
1.76 oz candied fruit
2 unit eggs
0.62 lb flour
4.23 cup milk
1.06 oz pine nuts
1.76 oz raisins
0.38 cup sugar

Directions

1. Soak the raisins in water until they're soft.

2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Save the whites for later.

3. Put the egg yolks in a bowl with the sugar and beat vigorously until frothy. Then add melted butter.

4. Next add flour, baking powder, and milk, poured in slowly.

5. Add the raisins (flour these first), pine nuts, candied fruits (cut into pieces), and anise.

6. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and add to the mixture.

7. Stir everything until it's well blended.

8. Butter and flour a cupcake pan.

9. Pour the mixture into a bowl and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour. Let cool.
