Parisian Potato and Leek Soup (cliom)

Ingredients

0.25 cup butter
3 unit Leeks
5 unit potatoes
6 cup water

Directions

Clean and wash the leeks (WELL) and cut into narrow strips. Heat half of the butter in a pot and saute the leeks. Pour in the water and add some salt. Peel, wash, and finely dice the potatoes and add to the pot.

Simmer for about 20 minutes at low temperature. When it is done cooking, add in the rest of the butter. Add salt and pepper to taste.
