gluten-free lactose-free gravy

Serves 20

Ingredients

1 cup vegetable stock
2.08 tbsp vegan butter
0.75 tbsp cornstarch
0.75 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
0.5 tsp black pepper
0.25 tsp salt
0.5 tsp poultry seasoning

Directions

In a sauce pan, add the butter.

Once butter is almost all the way melted, add in the cornstarch. Whisk constantly until a paste forms.

Add stock very slowly. Continuously whisking until well combined.

Then, add your herbs/spices. Taste your gravy and add more salt and pepper if needed.

Let cook, stirring often, until gravy begins to thicken.

Remove from heat and keep warm.
