kimchi fried rice VEG -protein on side

Serves 4

Ingredients

1.4 cup jasmine rice
0.25 cup kimchi
1.6 tbsp kimchi juice from kimchi jar
1.6 tbsp water
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 unit green onion
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
4 unit eggs
1 pack seaweed pack
0.5 lb spam
0.5 block tofu

0. Cook rice according to package instructions *the night before* (ideally).
We will have proteins on the side for people to serve themselves

FOR VEG/TOFU:
1. Pat dry tofu with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until hot. Spread the tofu. Cook until the bottom turns golden. Gently shake the pan and flip to cook the other sides, until most sides of the tofu turn golden. Transfer the tofu to a plate and season with salt, pepper, etc.

FOR SPAM:
1. Dice and pan fry, pretty easy

FOR FRIED EGG:
1. pan fry or oven? idk what to tell you just fry eggs :)

FOR FRIED RICE:
1. Heat up wok. Add the vegetable oil.
2. Add the chopped! kimchi and stir fry for 1 minute over medium-high heat.
3. Add old rice, kimchi juice, water, and gochujang. Stir all the ingredients together.
4. Add sesame oil and remove from the heat.
5. Garnish with sprinkled chopped green onion, roasted gim/seaweed, and sesame seeds. Serve right away
