Banana Bread

Serves 6

Ingredients

1 tsp baking soda
2 unit bananas
0.5 cup butter
2 unit eggs
1.5 cup flour
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 cup sour cream - lowfat
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan (or multiple pans if you're baking for lots of people, so 2-3 pans maybe)

2. In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Mash the bananas. Finally, fold in the sour cream and bananas. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
