Broccoli (steamed)

Serves 4

Ingredients

1.5 head broccoli

Directions

Cut off head and base of stem of broccoli and cut into florets (roughly chopping will do the trick, no need for vernier caliper precision here).

Peel stem of broccoli and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Put an inch of water into a pot and bring to a boil on medium heat. Add broccoli and cover for a few minutes until broccoli is steamed to your liking.

Remove from pot and season with salt and black pepper (flavor with lemon or balsamic vinegar)
